Returns & Refunds policy

Once an order has been submitted, it is considered final and constitutes a completed sale. If an order has been placed in error, you must notify us immediately.

If we are not promptly informed, the order will be processed as usual and dispatched within 1–3 business days. Failure to notify us prior to processing and dispatch will result in the order proceeding, and you will remain responsible for the purchase. In such cases, refunds will not be issued.

Due to health and safety regulations, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges for change of mind.

We have done our best to display as accurately as possible the item details and colour(s) of each product on our website. We take all measures to ensure the product image is colour matched. Please use the product image on our website as a colour reference, however we note that there are variances between colour settings on individual computers and phones. Issues relating to colour discrepancy will be treated as a Change of Mind and are not eligible for a refund.

DAMAGED GOODS

In the unlikely event your item has a fault, please contact us at sales@saltwatersummercollective.com.au to explain the issue. We ask that you send photographs to show us the problem and include the order number when contacting us. Please do not attempt to return the items before contacting us, as you may incur additional expenses.

Please note: We will not refund or replace a product if, in our reasonable opinion, the product has become damaged due to abnormal handling, or negligence by the user, fair wear and tear, misuse, improper use, or failure to follow the manufacturer's care instructions. (This includes items damaged by the user when removing from packaging).

Should the item be deemed faulty, we'll refund, exchange or replace the item free of charge and cover the postage to get the item to you. We may also ask you to return the item and we'll cover the cost of the return postage.

If we need to process a refund for you, please allow 10 business days for the funds to be returned via our payment partners

Very occasionally our hardworking team make a mistake. If you've received the wrong item, please contact as at sales@saltwatersummercollective.com.au. We'll send you out the correct item asap and we kindly ask that you return the wrong item and we'll cover the cost of the postage.

SPECIAL NOTE

Pulling of the threads, fabric deterioration, colour fading or any other symptoms of wear and tear over time does not deem the product to be faulty.

Please take care of the item(s) by following the care instructions

Please note, our cooler bags, picnic mats, beach towels, ponchos, bags, jewellery and soft furnishings are handmade or hand finished so there may be aspects of the product that we wouldn't deem to be a fault. Slight variations or imperfections around seams & edges, straps & handles, clasps etc may be evident.
